Broncos face tough road test visiting Patriots

The Denver Broncos made a statement Sunday night against the Kansas City Chiefs, winning 27-17 as a 7.5-point favorite to take over the top spot in the AFC conference at 9-1. With the win, Denver improved to 20-1 SU and 15-6 ATS over its last 21 regular season games.

This Sunday night, the Broncos face their toughest road test of the season when they visit the New England Patriots as a 3-point favorite at BetOnline. New England is 3-0 SU and ATS in its last three games against the Broncos with three double-digit wins including a 31-21 win at home last season.

While Denver and New England are fighting for potential bye weeks atop the AFC standings, a number of teams are in the hunt for the sixth and final wild card spot in the AFC. In what could be a key battle for that spot, the New York Jets visit the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

New York is currently a 4-point road underdog at 5Dimes. At 5-5 SU and 6-4 ATS, the Jets have alternated wins and losses every week they have played this season. Coming off a loss, the Jets are a perfect 4-0 SU and ATS with three straight outright upsets as an underdog. The total has gone OVER in seven of the Jets’ last eight games.

Another two teams looking to stay in the playoff hunt meet when the Cleveland Browns host the Pittsburgh Steelers. Since starting the season off 0-4 SU and ATS, the Steelers are 4-2 SU and ATS. The Steelers are 17-2 SU and 11-7-1 ATS in their last 19 games against the Browns, and are going off as a 1-point road underdog at Bovada.

The Kansas City Chiefs will try to bounce back from their first loss of the season Sunday hosting the San Diego Chargers. San Diego is 9-2 SU and 6-5 ATS in its last 11 games against Kansas City. GTBets lists the Chargers as a 6-point road underdog.

Other big games this week (with lines provided by BetOnline) include Dallas +3 at the NY Giants, Indianapolis +1 at Arizona, and New Orleans -9 at Atlanta on Thursday night.
