NFL Week 15 Odds: Road Betting Favorites All Across the Board

As the NFL regular season winds down with Week 15 the true contenders have by now separated themselves from the pretenders. It looks like a lot of the pretenders are hosting contenders this weekend with seven road teams listed as favorites at top sportsbook 5Dimes.

That includes Saturday’s matchup between the New York Jets and the Dallas Cowboys. The Jets, who are still alive in the playoff hunt, are a 3-point road favorite at 5Dimes. When the Cowboys are an underdog at home they usually prove the oddsmakers right at 0-4 SU and 1-3 ATS in their last four and 5-15 SU and 10-10 ATS in their last 20.

The biggest home underdog this week is the injury-plagued Baltimore Ravens, a 7.5-point dog when they host the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs have been a road favorite three times this season and they’re a perfect 3-0 SU and ATS. Baltimore, not surprisingly, is 1-5 SU and ATS in their last six as a home underdog.

The undefeated Carolina Panthers are a road favorite for the sixth time this season when they visit the New York Giants as 5.5-point chalk. The Panthers were obviously 5-0 SU in their last five games as a road favorite and they were also 4-1 ATS. The Giants to put it bluntly are horrible as a home underdog. In their last nine the Giants are 0-9 SU and 3-6 ATS when listed as a home underdog.

One interesting road favorite for bettors this week is Cincinnati at San Francisco. The Bengals are a 4.5-point road favorite at 5Dimes despite losing quarterback Andy Dalton to a thumb injury last week. The Bengals are 3-0 SU and ATS as a road favorite this season, but they’re 4-6 ATS in their last 10 as road chalk. The 49ers have been the underdog at home six times already this season and have posted a 3-3 SU record and a 4-2 ATS mark.

The other games on the Week 15 schedule with the road team favored are Buffalo at Washington (+1), Green Bay at Oakland (+3) and Arizona at Philadelphia (+3.5).
